Our Story
KAMA Accounting was established when Michele, Abby, and Allyson agreed that their clients needed more flexibility in their accounting rather than the historic 9-5 Monday to Friday accounting hours.
We decided to utilise modern-day technology and create an accounting firm that suits the individual needs of our clients.
We pride ourselves in going above and beyond – we place ourselves in our client’s position to achieve the best results possible within the required timeframes. With the ever-changing world, we ensure that our clients are provided with the most up to date information regarding changes and assistance available to them.

Michele Barca DipFS – Director – Tax Agent – XERO Certified Advisor
With 19 years in Public Practice Accounting and 12 years in the banking sector, Michele will find an answer to all your business and accounting needs. Michele prides herself on keeping up to date with recent changes. One of her focuses is pre-emptive accounting, looking at your bottom line before the end of the financial year to minimise tax payable where possible. She loves a challenge. Michele provides comprehensive taxation advice, Valuations for potential business sales and purchases, along with all compliance work, including Self Managed Super Funds, Trust, Company, Partnership, Individual Tax Returns, and BAS/IAS’s. In her downtime, Michele enjoys life! Everything from spending time with her adult Children, Travelling, Snow Skiing, Swimming, Camping, Fishing, and being outdoors wherever possible.
Abby Barca-Dowling – Internal Accounts Manager – XERO Certified Advisor
Abby is the XERO guru! She can fix what most think is unfixable and can train and update clients with step by step instructions when required. Abby is the internal accounts manager for MAAD Accounting, which also helps her assist clients with their own internal accounting needs. Abby has been in the industry for 11 years, working alongside Michele for 9 years. Abby also completes Financial Statements, Trust, Company, Partnership and Individual Tax Returns and BAS/IAS. In Abby’s downtime, she enjoys Travelling (cruising a favourite), playing Soccer, watching (once playing) Rugby, Technology, being outdoors and family time.
Allyson Jones – Administration Manager – XERO Certified Advisor
Allyson ensures that everything flows smoothly from your first point of call to signing your finalised accounts and submissions with the ATO. Allyson assists with liaising with the ATO and ASIC and prepares documentation for Finance as requested. Allyson has been in the industry, working alongside Michele for 11 years. Allyson also completes Trust, Company, Partnership, Individual Tax Returns and BAS. In Allyson’s downtime, she enjoys fishing, swimming, watching (once playing) rugby, spending time with her family (which is usually at sporting venues) and cuddles with her new granddaughter!
